How to submit student entries

STUDENT ENTRY STEPS FOR TEACHERS
Check you have fulfilled all Student Entry Requirements before submitting.

Schools are permitted to submit up to 3 Student Entries.

Students only need to submit either an eassy or video – not both.

STEP 1
Teachers/students are to complete the 2022 Student Cover Sheet/Submission Form by filling in the interactive sections digitally with all requested details, then print. Signatures and the parent’s declarations are to be completed by hand.

Tips: Please save a copy of the form to your computer before filling in digitally to ensure you do not lose the document when saving.

STEP 2
Essays: The completed and signed student forms should then accompany the student entry and be converted to a single PDF document. (therefore, one student per PDF file, means a maximum of 3 student PDF files can be submitted online per school)

Or

Videos: Video format entries should be MP4 Files. A completed and signed student entry form with the 400 word explanation as a single PDF, should accompany the digital file (therefore there would be two files submitted per student).

STEP 3
Teachers should label the student files in the following manner:

State or Territory_Last Name_First Name_SPstudent2022 (e.g. NSW_Smith_Andrew_SPstudent2022)

STEP 4
The Student PDF file entries must be submitted to entries@simpsonprize.org by 5 November 2021 (5.30pm)

Teachers will be sent an electronic receipt once the entries are received.
